Health trainer service

NHS Cambridgeshire is dedicated to reducing the health inequalities within Cambridgeshire and we are looking for an innovative and dependable provider to develop and deliver our Health Trainer Service.

The service will actively recruit and work with clients from the 20% most deprived areas of Cambridgeshire and will include identified vulnerable groups and community development interventions. The Health Trainer Service will form part of the wider lifestyle risk management services for the most deprived communities in Cambridgeshire. 

The Service will have close links with General Practice, Children’s Centres and organisations working with vulnerable groups and will also work closely with an academic partner as part of the ongoing service evaluation.
