Publication of Expenditure over £25,000

As part of the government's commitment to improve transparency of how public funds are used, HM Treasury has confirmed that the requirement to publish central government expenditure over £25,000 applies to NHS bodies with effect from 1 April 2010.

By 31 October 2010 all SHAs, PCTs and NHS Trusts must publish all relevant expenditure for the period 1 April 2010 to 30 September 2010, with subsequent months being published by the 15th working day of the following month.

The data is published locally on the website of each NHS organisation but is also accessible via the HM Government website http://data.gov.uk
