If so then NHS Cambridgeshire would like to hear your views on diabetes services to ensure that they meet your needs now and in the future.
NHS Cambridgeshire in association with Diabetes UK held four events from 4th-7th October 2010, which gave people an opportunity to share their views on current diabetes care; what is working well and what people would like to change if possible.
The events were held across Cambridgeshire, in Huntingdon, Cambridge, Ely and March. NHS Cambridgeshire and Diabetes UK are very grateful to those who attended these events, which were a great success.
During each event attendees heard about the new Integrated diabetes service in Fenland, which has been running as a pilot scheme since August 2009. The aim of this integrated service is to ensure that patients receive the most appropriate service in the most appropriate location and from the most appropriate person. Key successes include:
