Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust provides a wide range of community based health and social care services for children and adults living predominantly in Cambridgeshire. With some 2,400 staff and a core annual budget of £99 million plus a further £45 million budget for provision of social care services for people aged over 65, the Trust is a specialist in its field.

Cambridgeshire Community Services aim is simple; to provide high quality, innovative services that improve the lives of the people it serves. The services Cambridgeshire Community Services provides include the following:

  • Integrated health and social care services for adults and older people (district nursing, specialist nursing, community matrons, care management and intermediate care services)
  • Community rehabilitation including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy
  • Diagnostic services, a wide range of outpatient clinics, minor injury units and inpatient rehabilitation units based in four Community Hospitals at Doddington, North Cambs Hospital Wisbech, Brookfields and Arthur Rank Hospice Cambridge and the Princess of Wales, Ely
  • Children’s inpatient and outpatient services and a special care baby unit on the Hinchingbrooke Hospital site in Huntingdon 
  • A wide range of community-based children’s services
  • Clinic based services including Dental, Musculo-skeletal, Podiatry and Sexual Health
  • A county-wide Human Papilloma Virus vaccination programme and Chlamydia Screening Programme for young people
