CAMQUIT is Cambridgeshire’s Free Stop Smoking Service

You can access support services at your GP, at your local Pharmacy and via our telephone counselling call back service. 

You can expect, free weekly support, advice and prescription for nicotine replacement therapy to help you manage the cravings, Carbon Monoxide breath tests so you can see your body healing and a stop smoking plan tailored to suit you.

Want to help someone to stop smoking?

Training

People are up to 4 times more likely to stop smoking with support, even providing brief advice will increase their chances of stopping. Now is your opportunity to access this free training which is delivered in accordance to national guidance from the Department of Health and The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE).

• Level 1 Training Brief advice - ideal for all staff!
• Level 2 Training Providing comprehensive support to smokers - full day training. (CPD points can be accrued)
• Update training Providing up to the minute training for existing advisors.

We can provide free:

• posters for your workplace
• a small video (Vodcast) for display screens
• stop smoking messages for your ‘message on hold’

• CAMQUIT can attend any events you might be holding
• Advert / article for you to include in any local newsletters e.g. parish news, neighbourhood watch.
